I am back

*sigh* Well, after spending 1 week at the NS camp,I came back because I received some offer letter from the college. So,I gotta leave there to prepare things for my study.

Okay, the first update that I'm gonna post is about camera!!!Haha...camera....again...Two days ago,Canon unveils the new entry-level DSLR-EOS 500D with 1080 Full HD movie recording. It shaped exactly like the EOS 450D and you can't tell any major difference between them except for the extended textured grip and a silver mode dial on the 500D.

What makes it different from the EOS 450D is EOS 500D now features a 15.1 Megapixel APS-C CMOS sensor - ideal for large detailed prints or enormous cropping possibilities. For shooting in near-dark conditions, the EOS 500D offers a high ISO sensitivity up to 3200 which is expandable to 12800(*note that EOS 450D only offers ISO range from 100~1600), giving photographers the flexibility to shoot in the dimmest light conditions.

Also, thanks to the combination of a Canon CMOS sensor and DIGIC 4 processing, Canon is able to offer Full HD resolution movie recording in a digital SLR camera. So now, there is no need to purchase a video camera separately and you can what you have is a ''video cam with interchangeable lens''.But there is only a little tweaking you can do while recording and you can't change most of the options once the recording starts.

The announced price is $899(RM3299++),which is quite the same when EOS 450D first launched. The new movie mode sounds quite interesting and convinient at first, but do we really need it??So,what's wrong with EOS 450D anyway??The price difference can buy you a 50mm f/1.8 lens(maybe even a f/1.4 USM).

I hoped that the launch of EOS 500D will make the 450D drop its price XD
